Victorian oak writing desk

A very pretty late victorian oak writing desk with barley twist legs. This desk is a good size for a modern house. It has been re-polished in our workshop, as when it was purchased it was an unattractive dark treacly brown colour. It is now a much more attractive golden oak and has been given a new blue leather. There are two drawers which have ebony knobs.

Victorian walnut triple wardrobe

A large late Victorian triple wardrobe or compactum. It has a hanging rail across the whole width of the wardrobe. Underneath the hanging space there is one large drawer in the left section, and two shallower drawers to the right. The drawers have nice brass handles that fold in flush to the drawer when the wardrobe doors are closed. The wardrobe has been re-lined in a traditional blue fabric. The exterior has a mirrored central door and two relief carved panels in the flanking doors. It has its keys.

Edwardian satinwood breakfront display/bookcase

An impressive Edwardian satinwood and inlaid breakfront display cabinet or bookcase. The upper section has a painted frieze above a central twin astragal glazed door. This is flanked by two further glazed cabinets. Below the display cabinet are three shallow drawers. The cabinet stands on tapered supports with spade feet. It has inlaid decoration throughout, and the cabinet has been lined with a complementary green fabric.

Victorian mahogany linen press

A lovely victorian mahogany linen press with two cupboards, opening to reveal three shelves. The bottom section houses three drawers. The press has its original brass handles, and the cupboard doors are veneered in rich curl mahogany with kingwood banding. The bottom section is decorated with boxwood stringing.

Mahogany tilt top table

A lovely golden mahogany regency table. This table is extremely elegant in its proportions, and its tilt top means it can be stored in a relatively small space if not in use.

Plum pudding tilt top tripod table

This is a lovely rich colour mahogany plum pudding table. It is a tilt top so it can stand in a corner if not in use. It stands on a tripod base. It dates to mid victorian times.
